About me
I began rescuing in 2015 with a street dog rescue named Rufus. As time went on I became aware of the lack of animal protection laws. I was part of a Yulin truck stop along with Chinese volunteers in June 2015. Almost 200 dogs saved. Sadly, mostly being mixed breeds were 'unadoptable' here in China. I looked further afield and began sending rescues all over China.
More recently there was another truck stop (June 2016) more 'unadoptable' dogs, I looked abroad for homes. Many abandoned dogs, cats and a rabbit later and it was June 2017... Yulin dog meat massacre time again. A truck was stopped in the south with 1300 dogs and cats headed to Yulin dinner tables. There was nowhere for them, shelters China wide were closing, a callout was put out nationwide for rescuers to save them. I brought 9 to Kunming.
This was when 'Robin's Rescue' was really born.
After many months recovering, several rescues have gone to Canada, Italy, Holland, Sweden and the US . Others went to families in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou. In total I have rescued 100 animals from all over China.
I am just an individual, it's my personal mission. Working on saving the dogs of China one by one.

April 2019 update
Current cases:
Little Nicky, an abandonment case. This baby had been living under the hedgerow for some time, she was nervous but after gaining her trust she was finally caught. In intensive care for some time and it was touch and go. She is currently recovering in the clinic.
Two Miniature Dachshunds, Kizzy and Buster, from the Chengdu slaughterhouse, suffering severe malnutrition, parasites and flu virus, in ICU.
Yulia and Sienna two brave Yulin 2018 survivors. Suffering severe malnutrition, skin issues and wounds. Currently in recovery.
Four puppies from a Suzhou rescuer overloaded with cases. Simon, Monti, Phillip and Moose, suffering with coughs and flu, currently undergoing treatment in ICU.
Raven, currently in part time foster awaiting his freedom flight to Canada.
Momo saved from a meat truck in the far north and an overcrowded shelter situation. Recovering from spay surgery and receiving treatment for skin issues in a Shanghai clinic whilst awaiting her freedom flight to Canada.
Paulie, Yuki, Snow, Lily, Lala, Chewy, Bunny and more have all taken their freedom flights to safety!
Since last update, we have lost two more babies. Gone but never forgotten...
Baby Lex, this sweet baby sadly did not win the battle against distemper and parvo. It was too much for his tiny body to bare. RIP little one. : (
Our Miki, he flew to Canada on February 28th and had an amazing 6 weeks of freedom. Due to his mouth issues he underwent surgery and very sadly did not make it through. RIP my special sunshine boy. ; (

Feb 2019: 100 and counting.
Currently there are several ongoing *main cases* Chengdu slaughterhouse, Wenshan meat market, Changsha medical testing laboratory, Yulin 2018. These cases are ongoing due to there being a constant *supply* of dogs needing help.
As i write, there are 7 dogs in the clinic recovery/boarding plus several in foster homes Chinawide.
There is an outstanding bill for medical treatment etc of 40,000+rmb which increases daily. There are 7 dogs flying abroad in the coming two weeks. Please consider a regular or a one time only donation to assist in the care of these brave survivors. There are several ways to donate including Paypal, Alipay and Wechat. There are also ongoing raffles and charity sale items with proceeds going directly to the animals.
The countdown is on to Junes' Yulin 2019 where rescue will surely be needed again. Fees must be kept at a manageable level to continue with the cause.

Sadly, since the last update we have lost two more babies. Noel and Hazel, both rescued from the streets of Kunming have lost their fight to distemper. R.I.P

Ella is due in for spay this evening. She flies to Canada December 14th. Her spay surgery and after care/boarding is 1000￥ Please support.
Ella was born in the laboratory and adopted, then cruelly discarded when no longer wanted. I urgently flew her back to Kunming last month.

Sadly we lost 2 babies since July also. Kenji brave boy from the Hunan 710 meat truck and Goldy sweet baby from the vile puppy mill industry. R.I.P. Always in my heart. ❤
Currently we (you guys, the donators, and me) have made a difference for around 80 animals from deplorable conditions Chinawide. More than half this year alone. THANKS ALWAYS for making a difference. It cannot happen without you. ❤
